The new Xbox One Elite Controller is slated for release on October 27th. This release will coincide with the long awaited Halo 5, with both launching on the same day.
For the uninformed, the elite controller features hair lock triggers, interchangeable paddles, thumbsticks, and D-Pads. It will also launch with an Xbox One/Windows 10 app that allows you to customize the min/max value of the triggers, the sensitivity of the thumbsticks, and the button mapping.
The controller is also included in the Xbox One Elite bundle that releases on November 3rd (exclusively at GameStop and the Microsoft Store through November). An official date for other stores has yet to be announced, but both Amazon and Best Buy have December 1st as the listed date on their respective pages. In addition to the elite controller, the bundle includes changes to the console itself, such as a 1 TB Solid State Hybrid Drive that loads games 20% faster.
The controller is priced at $149 by itself, and the Elite Bundle will be priced at $499.
