We are nearing towards the end of the year which means the big games of 2015 are already out, and most of them are receiving great reviews. We've been given a plethora of games to keep us busy, all of which have been generally accepted and reviewed well. Much better than what we've seen in the past, especially considering 2014 was plagued with buggy launches and lackluster games.
It's a great time to be a gamer. Developers are now focusing all of their efforts on the current generation of consoles. And with more powerful consoles, in return, comes more ambitious games. Although the majority of games that have come out have been sequels - Metal Gear Solid V, Fallout 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Halo 5 - they are super polished and well done. Even annualized games such as Assassins Creed: Syndicate and Call of Duty: Black Ops III are reviewing well overall.
It's extremely refreshing to see. Especially after what happened last year, when it seemed that every game that came out either didn't work or had some sort of bug that impacted the overall experience with the game. It's nice to know that developers are doing their best with QA (quality assurance) and testing their game in order to ensure a smooth, successful launch.
